What our guests say

We came back. What better recommendation could there be?! A great base for visiting local islands, gardens, historic houses, etc. Stay and cook at home or visit one of the plentiful eating places. Good internet connection if you want that. All the major supermarkets will deliver there. And a log fire too!

Another great stay!

Absolutely perfect cottage with everything needed to suit my mum’s disabilities. Jane couldn’t be more helpful in ensuring our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We particularly enjoyed the country views from the sun room in the evenings and were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather to enjoy the garden. An excellent selection of books and board games was a thoughtful touch. Although they didn’t stay , my young grandchildren visited for the day and I was delighted to find children’s crockery and cutlery with a cute little high chair so they could join us at the table ! Jane really has thought of everything and we will definitely look to re-book in the future.

Beautiful well equiped cottage for a relaxing break

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Willow Cottage. This was our first holiday with our five month-old baby, and we hugely appreciated the various appliances in the house (v. modern washing machine, tumble dryer, etc) and the extra effort Jane went to (setting up a cot for us) that helped keep things as easy and relaxing as possible. It was great to explore the various local walks and to make the most from the close proximity to Largs (fantastic 'carry oots' from Tinto tapas bar and Fish Works on the sea front). Have no doubt we'll be back.
